Truck 4 Delivery provides cross-docking for businesses in St. Catharines and across the Greater Toronto Area. Inbound to outbound — less storage, faster supply chain. With same-day St. Catharines pickup, fully insured loads and photo proof of delivery, we keep your freight moving.
Cross-docking is a logistics process where incoming freight is unloaded, consolidated or split, and loaded onto outbound trucks with little or no time spent in storage. Instead of receiving a shipment, putting it away, and picking it again later, we transfer your pallets directly across the dock to the vehicle heading to their next destination. The result is a shorter handling cycle, fewer touches on your goods, and faster onward delivery for time-sensitive or high-turnover freight.
St. Catharines sits at the centre of the Niagara Peninsula, where the QEW links the city to the GTA in one direction and to the Fort Erie and Niagara Falls border crossings in the other, while Highway 406 runs south toward Welland and Port Colborne. It is a working manufacturing and warehousing hub, with industrial and employment lands clustered along Ontario Street, the Glendale corridor and the Welland Canal — one of North America's key marine shipping routes. That mix of highway access, canal-side industry and cross-border proximity makes reliable pallet freight a daily need for shippers here.
Less storage time and lower holding costs — freight moves through the dock instead of tying up warehouse space
Faster onward delivery, so time-sensitive and high-turnover shipments reach their destination sooner
Consolidate multiple inbound loads into fewer outbound trucks, or split a large delivery for several drop-offs
Fewer touches on your goods means less handling risk from inbound truck to outbound
Two secure GTA warehouses give you flexible cross-dock capacity close to Toronto's freight corridors
Live GPS tracking and photo proof of delivery on every load, with full insurance for peace of mind
Operating since 2014, Truck 4 Delivery gives St. Catharines businesses a single freight partner for the whole run — same-day pickup, dock-to-dock and tailgate/liftgate delivery, cross-docking, and pallet storage in two secure GTA warehouses. Every shipment is fully insured, tracked by live GPS, and closed out with photo proof of delivery, so you always know where your freight is. From a one-skid LTL move to full-truckload and freight forwarding with customs, you deal with a local carrier that answers the phone, not a call-centre.
Cross-docking transfers your freight directly from an inbound truck to an outbound one with little or no storage in between, keeping goods moving. Warehousing is for holding stock over time. If you need to store pallets short or long term, we also offer pallet storage across our two secure GTA warehouses; if you just need freight to keep flowing, cross-docking is the faster, lower-cost option.
Yes. We provide same-day pickup across the Greater Toronto Area, and in many cases freight received at our dock is sorted, reloaded and dispatched the same day. Overnight options are also available. Timing depends on your receiving window and route, so contact us with the details and we'll confirm what's possible.
Yes. We run same-day pickup across the GTA and out to St. Catharines and the wider Niagara Region, with overnight options when a load needs to move after hours. Call (647) 707-9684 or email info@truck4delivery.ca early in the day and we will schedule your skids for pickup and dispatch a truck sized to the load — up to 12 pallets or 12,000 lbs.
Absolutely. LTL (less-than-truckload) is a core service — ideal when you have one to a handful of pallets moving along the QEW between St. Catharines, Toronto, Mississauga and the rest of the GTA. We also run full-truckload (FTL) for larger volumes, and cross-dock freight at our secure warehouses to consolidate or re-route shipments without long storage.
Same-day pickup across St. Catharines and the GTA. Tell us about your shipment and we'll respond, usually the same day.
