Truck 4 Delivery provides cross-docking for businesses in Hamilton and across the Greater Toronto Area. Inbound to outbound — less storage, faster supply chain. With same-day Hamilton pickup, fully insured loads and photo proof of delivery, we keep your freight moving.
Cross-docking is a logistics process where incoming freight is unloaded, consolidated or split, and loaded onto outbound trucks with little or no time spent in storage. Instead of receiving a shipment, putting it away, and picking it again later, we transfer your pallets directly across the dock to the vehicle heading to their next destination. The result is a shorter handling cycle, fewer touches on your goods, and faster onward delivery for time-sensitive or high-turnover freight.
Hamilton sits at the west end of Lake Ontario where the QEW and Highway 403 meet, giving shippers a direct run to Mississauga, Toronto and the U.S. border at Niagara. The Red Hill Valley Parkway and Lincoln Alexander Parkway (the Linc) feed the industrial east end and the Mountain, while Highway 6 connects the Airport Employment Growth District and John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport up to Highway 401. Between the Port of Hamilton, the steel and food-processing plants along the Bayfront, and the growing warehouse cluster in Glanbrook and Stoney Creek, the city generates steady palletised and truckload freight that needs reliable regional carriage.

A Hamilton manufacturer, wholesaler or e-commerce shipper needs a freight partner that already knows the QEW–403 corridor and can be at your dock the same day — not a national broker quoting a lane it has never run. Truck 4 Delivery has moved Ontario freight since 2014, carries up to 12 pallets or 12,000 lbs per truck, and backs every shipment with full insurance, photo proof of delivery and live tracking. With two secure GTA warehouses close to Hamilton, we can cross-dock, store by the pallet, or run your LTL and FTL loads across the province and cross-Canada on request.
Cross-docking transfers your freight directly from an inbound truck to an outbound one with little or no storage in between, keeping goods moving. Warehousing is for holding stock over time. If you need to store pallets short or long term, we also offer pallet storage across our two secure GTA warehouses; if you just need freight to keep flowing, cross-docking is the faster, lower-cost option.
